Prioritize your wellbeing - Embrace the compassionate care you deserve.
My Approach
I specialize in trauma-focused therapy, offering personalized, evidence-based care for adults seeking healing, clarity, and growth. You deserve therapy that’s tailored to your goals, not limited by a one-size-fits-all model. I take a collaborative approach, integrating techniques that fit your needs and help you create lasting change.
Areas of Focus
✔ PTSD & Trauma – Childhood neglect, sexual abuse, major life events, domestic violence, and more. If you experience distressing memories, nightmares, or feel “stuck” in fear, therapy can help you reclaim safety and confidence.
✔ Anxiety Disorders – Panic attacks, social anxiety, GAD, phobias, and obsessive thoughts. Through CBT and ACT, we’ll build tools to calm racing thoughts and restore control.
✔ Depression & Mood Disorders – Persistent sadness, low motivation, or hopelessness. Therapy helps you regain energy, purpose, and joy.
✔ Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) – Managing intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors through practical, evidence-based techniques.
✔ Adjustment Disorders & Life Transitions – Navigating divorce, career change, relocation, or grief with resilience and compassion.
✔ Phobias – Reducing intense fears (e.g., social, flying, or public speaking) and building confidence through gradual, supportive exposure.
✔ Late-Diagnosed Autism (Adults) – Exploring identity, strengths, and sensory needs while developing strategies for communication and self-advocacy
Evidence-Based Therapies I Utilize
✔ EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – Helps reprocess traumatic memories to reduce emotional distress and restore balance.
✔ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Teaches practical skills to challenge unhelpful thought patterns and manage anxiety, depression, and OCD.
✔ Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) – Certified in this method, I offer trauma-sensitive therapy that supports adults healing from trauma.
✔ Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) – Helps understand and shift beliefs related to trauma, reducing guilt, shame, and avoidance.
✔ Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Combines mindfulness and behavior change to increase emotional flexibility and help you live by your values, even when life feels hard.
